And now for something completely different…

I think after yesterday’s post I could stand to lighten up a little, doncha think?

So, first off, I reached a WordPress milestone the other day: I hit fifty followers! You guys are all so awesome (yes, even the ones who never comment) and I’m so glad you think the shite that ends up in this blog is entertaining enough to subscribe to.

I’ve put up a new feature, which I’m hoping you’ll check out periodically. I’ve mentioned a number of times how much music influences my writing (and makes it possible for me to get through a workday without screaming at someone). So I’ve added a new page of my playlists for most of my works in progress. I’ll update it when I start a new project, which probably won’t be for a while. (Don’t expect to see one for Best Served Cold, though. I’m almost done and never got around to making a playlist for Rhia.)

And today’s the big day! Over at Savvy Authors, Sourcebooks editor Deb Werksman is taking three line pitches. You have until 11PM EST to post your pitch, and you have to be a Savvy member to post (which, if you aren’t already one, you should be. It’s frickin’ FREE. I mean, come on!) Categories for this pitch sit firmly within the romance genre, so all you non-sappy writers out there, keep your eyes open for the pitch sessions coming up next month. Jill Marsal and Peter Knapp are just two of the agents that will be taking pitches.

I’ll be posting pitches for the Shadowdemon trilogy and for Not About Love. Doesn’t this pitch totally make you want to buy my book?

When Jordan tracks down Audrey and tells her it’s her responsibility to save the city of Seattle from destruction by an ancient race of demons, she thinks he’s crazy. Too bad for her crazy looks so damn sexy.

To fulfill the prophecy, Audrey’s in a race against time and will have to rely on her wits, her friends, and a man she’s not sure she can trust…but who she can’t seem to resist.

Then to top it all off, I’ll be doing my girlfriendly duty by playing groupie to the BF’s band. If you’re in the Seattle area, come on down! Cordaviva’s shows are high energy afro-beat-tastic good times. Seriously. Out of all the bands the BF’s been in over the years, this one is my favorite.

Here’s a peek at what you’d be missing (the BF is the nerdboy on saxophone):

Happy Friday everyone!
