Take a deep breath and cross your fingers…

Just a reminder-you’ve got less than a day to pitch your short to Entangled Publishing!

I took the plunge. I pitched Shadowdemon AND A Lesson in Vanishing. I’m scared, antsy, a little excited…mostly excited, really. I love the stories, and I’m looking forward to delving back into Frankie and Audrey’s worlds, the characters I’ve created and the messes they’ve made since I’ve been gone.

And I will. I promise, even if neither ends up being accepted.

Just as soon as I finish writing my newest story. I never thought I’d say this, but I actually WANT it to snow like the world’s coming to an end. When that happens, the hills get nasty, the buses get chained, and I have an excuse to stay home. I waste PTO to do it, but this time around, it just might be worth it.

For now, the snow has stopped, the BF is off playing a gig (Allen Stone! Tonight at Neptune Theatre! Sold out!), the kitties are huddling around the heater under the guest bed, and I’m debating whether I want a clean bathroom or to start another chapter.

As much as I’d love to start another chapter, I think the bathroom’s gonna win this round.

  1. Thanks again for spreading the news about the pitch session! šŸ™‚

The editors are so eager for stories for these new imprints that they’ve said “the more the merrier” about multiple submissions. Good luck with your pitches! šŸ™‚
